Kindergarten is a critical year for all children- a year of transition from home, daycare, or preschool to a primary or elementary school. Most children arrive in kindergarten filled with curiosity, wonder and enthusiasm to learn about themselves and the world around them. Tallmadge City Schools roles and responsibilities are to nourish the hunger for knowledge, and to motivate and challenge the students, as well as to protect and nurture them. Children who see themselves as competent learners tackle challenges with confidence and develop attitudes that encourage their curiosity and eagerness to learn.
Any Tallmadge resident who has a child who is five year old on or before August 1 is eligible to enroll.
