The safety and well-being of our students is our top priority.

A report was made of potentially inappropriate behavior by a Petermann Company bus aide. Tallmadge School District immediately investigated and reported the issue to the Tallmadge City Police.

As a result, the Petermann Bus Company aide involved in the incident was immediately removed from duty and terminated.

In a new development, the School District has been informed that the Tallmadge Police investigation of the former Petermann employee had continued.

As a result of that continued investigation by the Police Department, the former Petermann employee has been arrested on charges of gross sexual imposition and attempted gross sexual imposition.

The parents of the students involved in this situation have already been contacted by the school district.  

As the Tallmadge City School District is dedicated to the well-being of our students, we will continue to work with the police and parents to keep our kids safe on our buses and in our buildings.
