 3-30-20 6:00PM **COVID-19 Update**

Good evening.

This is Superintendent Jeff Ferguson of the Tallmadge City Schools calling with an important update.  Today, Governor Mike DeWine extended his closure of our school buildings and facilities until Friday, May 1st with a potential return date of Monday, May 4th.  He continues to caution us in these unprecedented times that we should plan to potentially be closed for the remainder of the school year.  We will continue to plan for the worst but hope for the best.

The safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. 

A report was made of potentially inappropriate behavior by a Petermann Company bus aide. Tallmadge School District immediately investigated and reported the issue to the Tallmadge City Police. 

As a result, the Petermann Bus Company aide involved in the incident was immediately removed from duty and terminated.
