Jessica Stover
Jessica Stover is the new band and choir director for 6th and 7th grade students. She enjoys going on many adventures with her loyal guide dog, black lab named Inca. Aside from knowing the Unified English Braille code, she is also in the process of learning the braille music code. One could catch Ms. Stover at a Mexican restaurant eating her weight in chips and salsa. She says that when you are wearing fun socks, you can never have a bad day. Graduating from the Louisiana Center for the Blind, Ms. Stover fearlessly tackled challenges, even mastering the use of power tools like a table saw while wearing a blindfold—an empowering experience that built her confidence. Good to know she still has all ten fingers. Music is undeniably her true passion, and she is thrilled to share it (along with her charming quirkiness) in the classroom. Understanding the power of music as a creative outlet, Ms. Stover is eager to help her students find their unique voices and tell their own stories through music.
