Superintendent's Message

Welcome back!  What an exciting time to be a student in the Tallmadge City Schools.  The 2019-20 school year promises to be a special one for all of us.  The opening of the new Tallmadge Middle School, Tallmadge Elementary, and Tallmadge High School Athletic complex will be milestone events for this community.

The mission of the Tallmadge City Schools is that all students graduate with a viable plan for success that includes enrolled, enlisted or employed.  As a district and a community, we are committed to providing our students with world class opportunities and experiences that will empower and inspire toward those future careers.  The opening of the new Tallmadge Middle School and Tallmadge Elementary for the 2019-20 school year will support the mission of preparing students to thrive in the 21st century.  These new facilities will empower every student every day!

These experiences would not be possible without the tremendous community support.  We are thankful for the community partnerships with local businesses and citizens.  The passage of the new operating levy this past May was another major investment in our students by the citizens of Tallmadge.  The District will maintain excellent programming while being good stewards of your tax dollars.

The Tallmadge community prides itself on giving back through service.  We proudly place service learning at the core of our student experiences in academics, the arts, and athletics.  We will continue to partner with citizens, local businesses, and elected officials on service learning projects throughout the year.  I invite you to become a part of these experiences through the many partnerships and volunteer opportunities.  Whether you are a student, a parent or a community partner, I hope you take advantage of all the District has to offer for this school year.
