Tallmadge City School Board to Hold Middle School Dedication Ceremony and Community Open House

TALLMADGE, OHIO – (Nov. 11, 2019) – The Tallmadge City School Board will host its next regular meeting on Nov. 20 at Tallmadge Middle School instead of Tallmadge High School. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. 

The location changed this month because the Board will officially dedicate the new middle school building as part of the meeting. A dedication plaque will be unveiled and there will be an open house for the community. The dedication ceremony is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. with the board meeting beginning at 6 p.m. The open house begins at 5 p.m. and runs until 7:30 p.m.

“We are looking forward to showing off the new Tallmadge Middle School to the community because it is their support that made the new building possible,” said Superintendent Jeff Ferguson. “The students, faculty and parents have had positive feedback since we opened at the beginning of the year, and we believe the public will be equally as impressed. Please join us for this special event.”

This is the only school board meeting scheduled to be held at the new middle school.  All other meetings will return to Tallmadge High School.
