Credit flexibility is a statewide plan offering opportunities for students to earn units of high school credit based upon the demonstration of subject area competency. Students may earn credit in the following ways:
- Successfully completing traditional coursework
- Testing out or otherwise showing mastery of the course content
- Pursing an educational option and/or individually approved option
- Any combination of the above
Applications for students who intend to pursue a credit flex option must submit application materials by April 1st of the previous school year.
